Arrgh…

I wrote a long update for everyone, but my computer ate it. 

My laptop’s down for the count it seems, and the desktop is becoming unreliable. It’s about time for a new computer. Suggestions, anyone?

A brief version of the lost updates:

*Phoenix Lander is safely on the surface — hooray!
*Good day with my son wading and swimming along the banks of the Cahaba River in Bibb county — saw a lot of fish and collected various stones and shells.
*Update on how my conditioning for my bike ride is going — it’s going well, with minimal soreness.
*Writing updates — words flowing smoothly.
