  • 23:06 Sleepy. It’s been a fairly unproductive week when it comes to wordage. However, very productive on the submitting/polishing side of things. #

I think it was Henry Miller who said when you can’t write, nail down. I’m not sure what he meant, but this is probably it. I do the same, but different. I’ve never -aged a word, only stuffed it down my scream-hole and held my tongue until I found _le mot_ juiced. Let me tell you, it’s not easy to nail juice to the underside of a fable.

“Let me tell you, it’s not easy to nail juice to the underside of a fable.”

No…I would guess not…

Trying to be more productive this week (got in 700 words today), but really not feeling it right now. We’ve all got the crud & the baby’s got an ear infection.

When real life interferes, it gives us something to write about later.

If there is a later. In which case, which is more important? We’ve got choices all along the line. A significant chunk of my writing time will be taken up with the dentist this morning and here I am writing to you. Guess I value correspondence, too.
