We had about 2 to 3 inches accumulate overnight and into the morning hours. What a nice surprise!
I know to those of you who live up north, this sort of thing is not a big deal. Here in the Deep South, however, snow is a rare commodity. Having spent a chunk of my childhood in Cleveland, Ohio, the white stuff always tends to bring out the kid in me (despite appearances, my son definitively won our epic snowball battle).
