BE5K Photos and Another Review for “Suicide Mission”

14 02 2008
  • For those who would like to see some unflattering photos of yours truly, they are available here. These are some pictures from the BE5K this past weekend. I’m not really a morning person, and it shows.
  • Much more flattering is Ron Huber’s review of Escape Velocity #1 I found on the sci-fi blog/podcast, Beam Me Up. In it, he compares “Suicide Mission” to a work by James Thurber, which is more than a little cool. Especially since I have fond memories of reading stories about Walter Mitty in school. It’s a connection I hadn’t realized was in this story, but it makes sense as I read Thurber at an impressionable age.
